FACILITIES FOR RENT

The ITC is host for a diversity of spiritual organizations. The Centre is also used by different meditative organizations such as yoga schools, Buddhist groups, sufi’s and ceremonial groups. In order to preserve the spiritual atmosphere of the ITC these organizations need to have comparable aims and work along similar core values as the Centre.

A WALK AROUND ITC

As a spiritual study and retreat Centre, we invite people to work on the process of inner transformation, often described as a path, an inner journey. A path without a map is like a journey without direction. We therefore invite you to take meditative walks on our beautiful estate along some of the main features of the Centre.

WHAT CAN I DO

The ITC, the European home of the Theosophical Society Adyar (TS) has a unique atmosphere. All its activities are related to the higher aspects of life, the Source of Wisdom and Love. It is thus connected with the finer spiritual energies. Visitors, when open and receptive to its potent stillness, can therefore be greatly helped and inspired.

Route description to the  International Theosophical Centre (ITC)

The ITC is located approx. 20 km east of Amsterdam, close to the old, fortified city of Naarden.

By plane: fly into Schiphol airport, Amsterdam. The railway station is under the airport. Buy a ticket to station Naarden/Bussum.
By train: Buy ticket to station Naarden/Bussum. Go by regular taxi to ITC (see plan) or by bus (Regioliner 100. From bus stop Flevolaan it is a 20 minutes’ walk. See plan).
By car: take exit Bussum/Naarden off Motor way A1 between Amsterdam and Amersfoort. Then follow description of the plan.
